Do you find ASMR videos relaxing?

For me personally it depends what we're talking about. ASMR videos that are all about whispering, lip smacking, and loud chewing? (for example that fairly infamous video where a guy does an ASMR performance as Funky Kong while loud chewing noises can be heard in the background) No thanks, those make me feel uncomfortable rather than relaxed (if you've seen the video Odd1sout did on the subject a few years back I'm basically the same as him when it comes to ASMR that focuses on people doing binaural soft spoken vocal performances of some kind). But non vocal ASMR that is just relaxing white noise or things that try and give off a sense of "phantom touch" like head massage binaural audio? Yeah those I can get behind. Head massage audio that's meant to give that "phantom touch" feeling is especially soothing when I happen to have a headache, it helps alleviate the pain.

For me the entire medium is off putting. I've given several examples of asmr a try but I simply dont enjoy it at all.

Yet, when not trying, i do enjoy ambient sounding videos.

This seems to be the only type of asmr i like if it actually counts:

I can't stand ASMR. It drives me crazy. There's something about it that just makes my skin crawl.

As I said in my OP that is how I feel about any ASMR videos that focus on "vocal performances." Whispering, lip smacking, or loud chewing that sounds like it's right up against your ears makes me almost involuntarily want to push the person away and go "dude back off!"

It's only the stuff where there is no person talking that can actually end up being relaxing when done right, like this:

It's really depends for me. There are somethings I can't stand about it, such as the premeditation lip smacking and chewing, which just screams stranger danger. But other things I can find relaxing, such as slow hand movements, and "soft spoken" as they call it. Not gonna lie, I do watch some ASMR videos on an almost nightly bases.
Ephemeral Rift is a good example. (At least I think so.)
His videos do get kinda creepy and weird, half the time making no fucking sense, but are pretty enjoyable and relaxing. Also, there's a lot of "lore" in these videos, but I don't see it. Still, this is someone who puts a fuckton of effort and care into his video. I'd figure I leave one of his videos here.

It's an older video, but is one his more "down to earth" ones. Also, it was the first video to pop up on a youtube search.

I don't like it, the loud yet subtle sounds drives me insane.
If I want to relax, I would rather listen to Merzbow instead:

And before you ask, yes I actually listen to this unironically.

I find most of the bodily function ones (lip smacking, eating, licking, heart beat, etc) to be disturbing to me personally. For whatever reason my mind begin to race into body horror territory when I focus on it for too long.

The other stuff like tapping or banal activities I find boring and hard to understand/get into. To each their own.

I find ASMR videos pretty damn boring. What really makes me relaxed is watching a x2 speed video of some woodworking, metalworking or something involving the crafts while listening to some music. To see creations of wonderful art (it's art to me at least) gives me satisfaction.

No I don't get it. I like white noise tho. It doesn't give me "tingles" but having it be dead as quite makes me anxious

I can't fall asleep without some type of background noise so since its winter ive been putting on audio of fans
