This is an unfortunately common trend with cancers in this area, Corey Struggs had it, and there was a notable case from even before then with this professor named Randy Pausch who had the similar story of pancreatic cancer which was treated buy came back and was terminal which resulted in this lecture, which I highly reccommend with anyone
