I'm going to get a lot of shit for this, but I'm sick of going into the gallery and seeing nothing but Steven Universe screencaps, softcore porn and fanart. If I wanted any of those things there are other, better repositories for them.

About 60% of the Trending page at any one time is technically not a meme or joke of some kind. Is there really no way to sift through all that to just get the heehee funny XD pics?

I feel like you'd really enjoy a read through this thread. And by enjoy I mean absolutely abhor, because the long and short of it is "we can't do shit". The reason adult content tends to trend is because KYM users tend to click on it. The best I could give you is filtering out the tags you don't want to see, but this is pretty restrictive on how you can browse KYM, and doesn't apply to the trending bar below media.

For your reading, a technical explanation on why we can't have a "disable NSFW" button like we did with ponies.

Or complain a lot about specific uploaders so we have an excuse. Do it. It works, I promise (please).

You are preaching to a deaf choir here, my friend. This place is absolutely riddled with those who love to post such things, and those who love to eat it up. It's an inherently purely community-based problem. A problem that can only be fixed by the community itself, which, at this point, is frankly impossible.

Believe me, I've been trying. I'm still trying. I am very, very tired, but if I stop it means they win.
