It's finally here, the FIFA World Cup in Russia. Who will win it all? Who will get the 7-1 treatment? Will Americans even watch the games even if USA isn't in the tourney?

How Americans see soccer:

One of worst things FIFA has done is a thing against democracy of accesing content i.e. blocking anyone from watching YouTube video outside YouTube because of sharing by embedding. Screw you, Sepp!
Here's the unblocked FIFA-related video.

Well at this point everyone has played one of their three group games. It's been exciting so far, with heavyweights struggling and a few upsets peppering the scoreboard.

Catching up with the video highlights on nations that won along with U.S.S.R. in periods preceding now.

They head butted the nation we live in and never hurt at its most. Let's hope if France never head butt in retaliation during finals.

I would like to see an Argentinean gamer that is able to replicate the so-called Goal of the Century against the English/British players in Rocket League

"Let's bring something for an audience to blare louder than Vuvuzelas i.e. My Videos"-SrPelo

Brazil strives for their sixth.

These are not one different player's goals, these are their goals!

My commentary on Russian team: If Russia wins, then it's one moment when Russia never cheats at anything by embracing the public persona of their soccer team. Not like the hackers involved that interferes.
And that recaps matches from June 16 to June 19.
I love how clips of goal scoring tend to be like a game of pinball (Try Dragon's Fury on Sega Genesis).

JESUS CHRIST ENGLAND STOP, THEY'RE ALREADY DEAD

This is England's only opportunity to show taints of contention. They can't stand a chance against legit strong teams like Belgium.

And hey, at least Panama scored a goal.

After two games, a lot has happened. Some teams were able to lock themselves into the next round while others find themselves with their journey ending in a few days. I will be using 538's World Cup Predictor to update the status. If your team still is not yet locked in ESPN has all the scenarios.

If you're not here for World Cup conversation, and just some random confused nerd, then leave. Even though you're British, you should know about today's game against Colombia.

Fun fact:
After Leicester City and the Cleveland Cavaliers won the first champions in their franchise histories respectively (and the Chicago Cubs ending their curse), Portugal won EURO 2016, their first international champion ever.
Now in 2018, we already had the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Capitals won their first franchise champions. Will we witness history yet again?

Not overly disappointed, we got to the semi finals. That's a success for me. Just a shame we didn't take those chances in the first half.

Yeah, after squeezing through Colombia (sans James Rodriguez) and Sweden (which had squeezed themselves into QF with luck), no Brits should be disappointed. Luck can only take you so far.

Enjoy your 4th place.

I will, since you seem to be filled so much hatred. And you need luck in football.
