HAHAHAHA XD

Is anyone else getting tired of seeing this shit? This feels like the modern day advice animal, literally ANYONE can make these jokes, they are rarely funny or clever and have thousands of alternatives with the same LOL im so awkward XD punch line/ Oh boy I sure am depressed, or other personality defect but its funny because im self aware about it.

Im mostly just confused as to how this dumb meme is lasting so long given the Internets attention span and how sameish most of them are.

Yes, I hate them with a passion.

They are so unoriginal and normie that it pains me to see them.

Only thing worse are the relatable nostalgia memes. "DAE remember playing pokemon as a kid??"

Everytime, with that exact same format, with that exact same text, the exact same type of 'humor' it's getting stale. Desensitizing, it's like I'm not even looking at anything.

" Desensitizing, it’s like I’m not even looking at anything."

This ironically the most relatable thing anyone has ever typed at me

Relatable humor is the low hanging fruit of memes. After the 20th “When you…” it almost gets formulaic. I rather look at Deep Fried Memes or Ironic Relatable Memes than the whole “RELATABLE XDDDDDDD” memes.

This literally took me a few minutes to throw together. they're like those toys you see at the grocery store. Easy to make, cheap and not as amusing as they intend to be.

They're like most memes as far as I'm concerned; a few good ones and plenty of duds.

This is the earliest relatable meme I remember seeing and I still think it's pretty cute:

I agree that there are gems out there.

This one meme has resonated with me the most out of all the memes I've seen in the past few years.

Those memes are really just a reiteration of those advice animal/impact font memes we used to see often back in the late 00's, but they're just more common on Twitter. At least I'm glad to see we no longer have to deal with MemeGenerator memes.

Well, i think the appeal of a lot of comedy is that it's relatable, in a way. Taking a common and oftentimes negative or uncomfortable situation and making light of it is staple of a lot of comedy.

Now if you're talking about whether or not this specific format is being overused; then yes, i agree with you.

Not relatable.

If you post reaction images as replies honestly are you really that much superior?

Would posting reaction images be more ironic and and dumb than creating a relatable meme tho?
