So amidst the incoming shutdown of Toys R Us, it turns out the founder has now died.

To me at least, I think he was a man who shaped the childhoods of many with Toys R Us, and he'll be sorely missed.

A captain must go down with his ship, they say. Hope he didn't die with too heavy of a heart knowing his life's work was ending.
