4chan's Image Outage

Not really, because I doubt this will be a problem for too long. There's a chance for it to last a month now just to spite me for thinking that, though

But if there is something you guys want to know, it's this nifty website being used to make all the ASCII art

Convert an image and post it at your own risk because I don't think this place is going to appreciate huge walls of text, I know 4chan didn't once they started deleting the ASCII posts

At best, it warrants an update to the 4cahn article. I'd give it a couple days before doing it, though. 4chan's had outages and DDoS stuff in the past and I'd wager it's either a coding issue or some problem with the DNS server/domain that'll be fixed in the coming hours/days.

I don't know man. It's been 17+ hours and not a single word on the issue. Mods are present & active because people are being banned and threads getting deleted. /qa/ is going batshit crazy with theories. It's definitely not the common outage.

From what I’ve heard, and take this with a grain of salt, the sites images got taken down because someone on /x/ posted a real alien. Thread 404’d and the entire sites image posting was taken offline in retaliation. Either that or the guy who’s currently running 4chan forgot to pay this months bills.
