Why oh why did Zeke Elliott have to be suspended?
The Packers better not lose six straight again this season…

Because whether or not he actually committed domestic violence, he made the League look bad and he should feel bad.
Pretty controversial opinion, but I have a pretty good feeling that the Browns defense are very close to becoming a defensive juggernaut. Myles Garrett will likely become the league's best edge rusher in a few years, Jamie Collins is probably the most athletic linebacker in the league, Jabrill Peppers could be slotted at a couple different positions and has showed the ability to stop running backs effectively.
If they can draft some good cornerback depth, they should be set. On the other side of the ball, however…
I'm more into college football, but my NFL team would be the Falcons.
Bring me my cup of bone-hurting juice. Can we top last year?

Eyyy, a new football fan. We could use more fans around here.
BTW, did anyone watch UrinatingTree's Haters Guide to the 2017 NFL Season videos. He's pretty funny.
I haven't watched NFL in a while, who is the worst team and who is the best?

Worst this year is definitely the Jets. They gutted their receiving corps and jettisoned any veteran on the offensive side. Then during training camp, they lost their top WR, Quincy Enunwa, to a season ending injury which means that Robby Anderson is going to be the top WR for the Jets. Yep. They'll likely win four games, though, because loljets.
Best this year is going to be the Patriots, they added tons of firepower to their already loaded receiving corps and bolstered their defensive side.
The Panthers better not choke like last year; I don't know what happened, but hopefully they learned their lesson. Also Jabrill Peppers going to the worst performing team two years in a row makes me nervous that his potential is going to waste. As for the Lions, if they only let Jake Rudock play during the main season, they really might have a chance to go far.

I don't think Rudock is better than Stafford. I could see him win the backup battle, but definitely not taking over the starting spot. Jabrill's in good company though, the Browns defense looks great so far.
I'd hoped that the move to a new city might provide something of a fresh start to my team of choice. But nope. The Chargers have wasted absolutely no time in doing what they do best- disappointing their fans.

Even worse that they're probably going to be playing second-fiddle to the Rams the entire time here in LA.

Oh yeah. I do not see one bit of Chargers merch anywhere in LA, all I see is Rams gear, and Rams fans.
Even LA is confused as why they're here.

The Bears offense looks pretty good with Trubisky. Hoping that he can start sometime this year. I'm also hoping that Kevin White can step up and show some production after the Cameron Meredith injury.
I've been really impressed by Travis Rudolph this preseason. He's been able to consistently make plays and shown his ability to catch in traffic. He's definitely earned a spot on the 53-man roster, and I have a feeling he can beat out both Tavarres King and Roger Lewis.
Seattle has a new logo, and everyone hates it. It seriously looks like they mirrored the old logo.
THANK YOU BASED CHIEFS
I didn't start Kareem Hunt this week……

So many protests in the NFL this week. The_Donald isn't too pleased with all this kneeling.
So after suffering losses the previous week, both of my teams have gained wins, with one even beating the Patriots. Now of course I'm going to be conflicted since they will be playing each other next week.
Went to my very first NFL game today, Giants and Chargers. Oh man.
The Packers keep stacking miracles one after another. I should be used to this by now but this team still gives me heart attacks every now and then.

Dallas Cowboys are eliminated from playoff contention. :(
>tfw your dad cheers happily when the Lions lose and are eliminated from playoff contention because it means there's a better chance Caldwell will get fired
Being a Lions fan is a strange thing.

The 2017 Cleveland Browns have become the 2nd team in NFL history to finish 0-16 (1st since the 2008 Detroit Lions).
Ok, so my dad is a Browns fan (because if you're born in Cleveland, you're contractually obliged to be one apparently) and when that guy dropped the ball at the end, I heard him scream, from the other room, through my door, over my Laptop playing an LP at full volume. I actually went out to see what was wrong. Sportsball fanism is weird.

Rather you wait until the games are over but, we're in for a 3-way tie for the #6 seed in the AFC.

There are days when I wish the Lions were good enough for the playoffs and then there are days when I'm glad they're not because I know they'd end up playing like the Titans.

SPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT
Drew Brees congratulated the Vikings quarterback for throwing the last-second game-winning pass. It started both teams celebrating the Vikings' win, with the Saints players joining in the Vikings' dancing and cheering. I've never seen that before. Props to the Saints for taking the loss so well.
I'm just going to say this: if it's the Patriots and Eagles in the Super Bowl again, I'm not even going to bother watching. This because it'll be my two most hated teams in the NFL plus one of my most hated musicians during Halftime.
