I created a tool to Archive the images in a 4chan thread. Ive tested it day and night and what the feature so far does it

Once you put in a thread ID, it creates a folder on my server, then it starts downloading the images only into my server in the random folder, then it zips the folder, and does a force download (when you don't click a link, and the thing pops up saying save/open).
After that it deletes the folder and keeps the Zip for 10 minutes, then it will delete. It provides a link so you can give to friends for those 10 minutes.

Ive used it on Informal threads when im too lazy to save every file, its a real big time saver.

It wont be released until I get my real host up, atm im using a temp host.
I just wanted to point out the epicness awaiting to come. Along with my Thread Finder.

Note:
moot emailed me telling me not to make something like this, i just replied with

"Archive sites use more bandwidth then mine, all mine does is ping your server 15 times"

That was for my thread finder, for this tool, its harmless.

Just wanted to get your opinion or ideas, I was thinking of once you put the thread ID it gives you a list of the images with a bullet to check or uncheck to download.

This sounds great!

4chanarchive does this same kind of behavior -- unless it's doing every thread I don't see why this would be a huge issue

Also, I wonder if the 4chan Firefox extension does this? That would definitely offload responsibility from you → the original interested party

the firefox extension doesnt do this, and this is even better then 4chan archive.

Why? This is instant, and you dont need to "ARCHIVE" a thread to do it.
I have talked to 4chan archive about the project, and they told me they would love the script so i said sure, unless I can find a good host in the next few days.
