Hey I'm new to the site. Unlike other new users I'm acutualy going to try and make a good entry and not troll. So could you tell me how to
1.Post videos and pictures.
2.Post links.
And 3. make text bolder and bigger.

to make text italicized but an underscore (_) between the word, letter, or phrase you want italicized

well, normally the video site itself will have an embed link, you just copy/paste that over here

2. Underneath the 'more info' there is an url address and an Embed address
3. Copy the Embed adress
4. Post in the thread you wish
5. ?

It might be I'm using a laptop which can't copy and paste…

Triple-click the whole thing to get it all then copy-paste it.

Now let's talk about the other questions.

Copy-pasting links when creating an article alone will be no good. You need to embed it. Use any of these two codes to embed site links (replace symbols appropriately).

1) Replace the "(" and the ")" with the "<" and the ">" respectively.

(a href=http://www.whatever.com)Whatever(/a)

2) or, replace the ";" with ":".

"Whatever";http://www.whatever.com

As for making your text "bigger", use the following code but change the "," with ".".

h2, Whatever

BTW: "Whatever" is whatever the site or title is called.

that might be it, b/c that didn't copy the entire embed, it was a part of it so we are on the right track

I'll just make the entry I'm making without pictures and videos.

Use the image's URL alone. Don't include the pixel size.

PROTIP: Your images and videos must already be somewhere on the web for these codes to properly work.

Okay I'll try and do that on another computer. Could anyone add pics and videos to the entry I'm making after I make it? Thanks to everyone who helped and will help.

You can host images here. Under "Add Photos", click "Browse", select the photo you would like to upload, don't select anything where it says "Please select", then click "Upload". You can now access the picture you've uploaded by clicking on "Your Photos". To insert a picture into a post, go to the picture you would like to use, click on it, then right-click it and select "Copy image location", then go to where you would like to post it, right click and select "Paste". You should see "http" with a bunch of stuff behind it, place an exclamation point (!) in front of the "h" and another immediately after the last character.
To post a video, go to the video you would like to post, copy the embed code, then paste it into where you would like to post it. For example, to embed from YouTube, on the box to the right of the video, there are two boxes, the lower one has a code. Click on that code, then right-click and select "Select All", then right-click again, this time select "Copy". Now go to where you would like to post that video, right click and select "Paste". When you click "Post", the video should show up in your comment.

@shadowfury I can't copy and paste because I'm using a laptop.

Ctrl+C for copy, Ctrl+V for paste works as well.
