I notice that some of the words I usually slur are usually wordfiltered.

I'm wondering,

What are some raunchy words we at KYM can use?

I don't think the words I used so far that were word-filtered were strict and unecessary, but I hope words like EDIT:HUGGING don't get wordfiltered easily soon.

There really isn't a wordfilter, we admins just filter words if we think they should be filtered.

No word filters ever. They are terrible. Clbuttic

I know there isn't an automatic wordfilter, but I'm wondering is there any raunchy words we could use to avoid getting word-filtered.

It's up to the admins to decide. I'm sure they'll figure out your clever way to say something raunchy.

I'm with Watcher on this one, censoring people because you don't like what they have to say is just wrong. Of course, it's up to the admins whether or not to censor things. I know that they occasionally get emails from people who have been offended by the content KYM hosts, so if it's needed to avoid such circumstances, then so be it.

Some forums have such stupid word filters. You can't say words like classic, assassin, assist, scunthorpe, dick cheney.

Wordfilters make a website stupid.

I generally filter any racist or homophobic language. Cursing people out isn't so nice either… we're cultural researchers, not construction workers

Exactly. Now I don't really mind any other word but the F word… There are other words that could be used to get your point across, and using that word just shows your lack of vocabulary and ignorance.

Honestly, I usually just save the admins time and filter my own FUNing words. Just saves everyone time.

However, due to the new karma system, I guess I'll have to stop cursing altogether. I knew I was going to have a negative karma count the first time I heard of it, but ehh. Im always infamous on message boards and such =/ Guess that's just me.

Karma already takes care of it.
