At the end of the 'Balloon Boy' episode, there is an acoustic song/sound bite playing in the background that I've heard in a substantial amount of podcasts and such, and I was curious as to what exactly it was. I assume it's from some sort of royalty free or public domain website, but if anyone knows specifically what it is and where I could find it, that would be awesome.

Thanks.

I don't know what Griff is talking about. He just likes to say my name whenever he can. He's got a weird little crush on me maybe? He's got a really unique style of trolling going.

Back to the point:

I'm not sure where the sample came from. I don't edit the episodes, I'm just one of the writers. Barry Pousman edits the episodes. He would have the answer to that question. I don't know for sure, but I think it might be a GarageBand sample.

I just heard back from Barry. It was a sample from Final Cut Studio: Soundtrack Pro.

i meant it was you playing guitar as in a joke. I could have said Jamie or Greg or Yatta but your name came to mind. I don't see how that is trolling. You need to rethink your definition. It's like your looking for a reason to ban me. I won't give you that reason.

well that may be but being unfunny isn't trolling. Im a new person now. Can we put aside our past differences? (puts out hand for truce handshake)

Back on topic… we've used that audio sample a number of times. I'll see if I can dig up which one it is. I think it's a stock part of the Soundtrack libraries (shhh) or else it was probably composed by Drew
