i dove behind a column, i wasn't sure if she had seen me yet, my fingers nervously tapped the bridge of my guitar, waiting for an opening. an opening for what, i wasn't sure.

she absently surveyed the fairgrounds from king dub's section, walking along the aisle, she notice some of the elimination game contestants were still trapped high above the pit.

the man on the steamroller was just barely holding on, only 3 chains were holding him up, and his steamroller was slanted to one side, it looked like he was losing his grip, he only had a few seconds.

i didnt have any time to lose.

i sprinted from the edge of the floor and leaped down into the kings section, i bashed my bass into the back of her head as i landed, her head slammed into the concrete floor, i turned to the pit.

the mans grip was failing. i climbed onto the railing and positioned myself for the leap, the fall appeared to be over 9000 feet.
