ok, its the 4th, and we're all celebrating. but i have to wonder… why do explosions make us happy? what is it about rockets and bombs bursting in air that gives a good feeling?

Iunno, most of the time there illegal where I live in Pennsylvania. BUT I COULD HERE MY TOUHOU GAME CAUSE PEOPLE WERE LAUNCHING THEEEEEMMMM.
Hmm… I don't know if it does make everyone happy. For the last two days I've had to remind myself that it's just fireworks, not gunshots.
