hey so ive been writing this story
while ive mostly kept it among friends
im considering making go public
but i have no idea where to post it where it can actually get traction
its not fanfic so wattpad and fanfiction are out the window(never was a big fan anyways) and i cant animate it, so youtube is a nope
i cant even draw, nor do i know anyone with talent willing to draw the entire thing
i wanted to like put out chapters weekly since its gonna be
well
long
so yeah if anyones got any suggestions, please, lemme hear em

Many people use Google Docs as a fast and easy way to store writing, and share it for comments or feedback without leaving the original copy at risk. This would remove any limitation on your frequency or volume of edits and updates, as well as allowing you to share a copy that is always up-to-date.

Most of the Internet serial fiction I've seen has been either posted on Wordpress, the author's own website or sometimes even Blogger or a forum; I'd suggest the first since it's easy to work with and mostly free AFAIK (though I haven't used it much personally).

You might also want to look at the stories shown on Top Web Fiction and Web Fiction Guide to see what their authors did with their publishing. Most of them were in a similar situation to you at one point.

i have it on google docs but i want a good place to make it public
unless google lets you check out public docs and i just wasnt aware

might do it on tumblr, but im a bit worried that its gonna get the tumblr brand 'your story is sexist your characters are transphobic etc. etc'
maybe ill post it here on kym

what is your story about?

well ill try to tl;dr it since ive been workin on it for about 4 years now but
its a world like ours but there are things called "sinnessers" that eat the body part associated with the five senses (fingers, ears, etc.)
and they are completely impervious to man made weaponry such as swords and guns, except for the weakest of the bunch
if a human manages to kill a weak sinnessers, the it will explode into confetti(dont ask)
eating the confetti will give them powers of the sinnheld, a military force made of soldiers who can make weapons from their soul energy which can hurt the sinnessers.
then theres stuff about the versteckt, humans who have the same type of souls as the sinnessers, and yeah
it is somewhat jojo inspired as it goes forward in time with a new protagonist each part
first protagonist is ansel bouchard, who is a french dude who kills a sinnesser and becomes the first sinnheld
second protagonist is Arden Frost, who is the leader of the england branch of sinnhelds
second/third protagonist is Bovovu, a sinnesser who knows that his kind is evil and becomes an assassin while at the same time having a oedipus complex. it takes place at the same time as arden's arc so the two sort of alternate each chapter if that makes sense
fourth protagonist is currently unnamed, but he is gonna be a roaring twenties detective who is also a sinnheld
then the next four arcs take place four years from now, with most of the main cast being real people, me and my group of friends, and each arc the protagonist arc is passed on
fifth arc is me as the protagonist
sixth arc has my best friend as the protagonist
seventh is my other friend Joe
and eighth and final arc is my friend nick
