Here's a thing that happened to one of my friends. I was there. Basically, we were walking down the sidewalk, talking about something meaningless. I think t had to do with a movie. Then this bus screeches up, stops next to us, and a bunch of people with “Down with Cis" shirts climbed out and started beating him up. I was punched and kicked a bit too, but I managed to avoid brutalization by going for their faces. After iguring out what's happening,I started attacking them back, getting them off of him. He was quite injured but I called 911 and he made a full recovery at the hospital. I was fine, with only a cut on my arm that they patched up. #cis #trans #cisphobia #incident #violence

Plus promoting this "meme" can make trans people feel incredibly uncomfortable because their wish is to become cis, to become comfortable enough with their body to NOT want to f------ hurt themselves every waking moment of their lives. Being trans is not a choice, it is not an accessory. I am not trans but I imagine being born with a body that doesn't match with your mind at all is hell on earth, and working to make it match can be even more of a challenge because of all the b------- society throws at you. I honestly would not wish for anybody to go through that kind of torture, and every single trans person that tries their best to live as best as they can while trying to overcome a battle against themselves has my utmost respect But no, those that endorse "down with cis" are just sitting on their phone or computer, spewing b------- like "WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BE CIS?" and "CIS PEOPLE SHOULD F------ DIE" or some other equally vile posts, inadvertently sending the message to trans people that working to get their body matched up with their mind is a terrible thing, and that they should just live with their goddamn dysphoria for the rest of their lives. queernuck: rabbittiddy: superluminalflower: tfw takashiO doesn't know extremely basic concepts of how gender works or what cisness IS this is the worst discourse i've ever seen lmfao 99% of Tumblr doesn't Hell do you even know what it means, or are you one of those ackasses who treat it and trans like greaser/square or punk/jock or goth/prep?
