There are other noteable failures, but here's what separates Concord from the rest: - 1st party, AAA game -8 year development cycle -$100-200+ million budget (probably due to 8 year dev cycle) - Sony bought the ENTIRE STUDIO specifically for this game -Abysmally low sales - Double-digit player count for a live service game... within DAYS of release! -Flopped so hard it was UN-LAUNCHED and removed from store fronts after 2 weeks Never has any game failed on this level. Any other failure doesn't meet these metrics. Think about E.T. for example - It was rushed out after a month of development, barely any budget whatsoever, still sold a ton up front. Or you see people bring up Redfall - a game that had 10 times the player count on just Steam (not including PC Game Pass), wasn't in development for 8 years, still got updates well after launch, and still exists 1 year later.
