3h. I just came back from IGA , when I came to the cash, I asked for 3 freezer bags for my products. I was polite and it was not busy, the girl beside her who was training the girl on cash said "use your gun." I said what? Then another girl pointed to the scanner. I Said there has to be a better word for that instead of gun. Finally someone said scanner. I was so surprised at the lady who said gun. She looked straight at me and had no remorse for such awful customer service. I've seen her there before, she just got a short groovy cut but appears miserable. I called to complain but no answer. O I am very upset with what has been transpiring not only in Wethersfield but all around the state. Yesterday it was reported 16 attempted car thefts happened over the weekend. It is time for everyone to contact their legislators and ask that they repeal laws that just give a slap on the wrist for criminal acts by youths. I am suggesting that any youth involved in a criminal act should be immediately sent to a boot like camp for one year. I further suggest a boot camp be established for just this purpose and it be overseen by the military. I think these kids have never been taught respect but it's high time they learn. To earn their keep, they should have to clean up communities where no one takes care and they should also clean up all the graffiti that is on walls along the highway. When and only when they become model citizens will they be released from the camp. Sounds tough; maybe so but this country is going down the toilet and I sure am sick of it. In addition, lawmakers need to make laws that are sensible. Handing out marijuana is not only stupid but dangerous. This is not candy. It is drug that can cause harm.
