Vice President Trump refers to the reply given by President Joe Biden to the first question asked of him at a press conference on July 11th, 2024. The comment came during a time when several Democrats were calling for Biden to step aside from running in the 2024 Presidential Election on account of doubts about his mental aptitude. Almost immediately following the gaffe, numerous memes emerged online mocking the President or making photoshops combining Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

Clips of President Joe Biden referring to Kamala Harris As "Vice President Trump" began making the rounds on Thursday evening, July 11th, 2024, shortly after the incident during the speech. The President's entire statement was; "I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President, if she's not qualified to be president" (seen below).^[1]

The incident came hours after Biden introduced Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy as "President Putin" (clip shown below).

Also on July 11th, 2024, X^[2] user @cspanJeremy posted a clip of "Secretaries Blinken, Austin and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan" reacting to Biden calling Harris "Vice President Trump." The post gathered over 28,000 likes in a day (seen below).

Users on Reddit's /r/politics made posts about both of Joe Biden's missteps during the July 11th, 2024, press conference, with a post about him calling Zelenskyy "Putin"^[5] gathering over 15,000 upvotes in less than a day and a post about him calling Harris "VP Trump"^[6] gathering over 7,000 upvotes in a similar timeframe.
