Tokyo Toni's "Well, Yes!" is a reaction GIF and video taken from a viral interview with social media personality Tokyo Toni in which she reveals herself to be bisexual and seconds later replies that if another man hooks up with a man they're gay, saying, "Well, Yes!" The moment was originally posted on YouTube in November 2019 but it became a common reaction meme on Twitter / X within LGBTQ+ and Stan Twitter circles over the following years.

Origin

On November 9th, 2019, The Hollywood Fix posted a video on YouTube^[1] titled "Tokyo Toni Reveals She's Gay, Speaks On Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna At The Finding Love Premiere." In one particular moment of the interview, Toni confirms she is bisexual and seconds later replies to a question by the interviewer about if a man hooking up with another man makes them gay, to which she replies, "Well, Yes! Anytime you mess with the same sex no matter what level you’re gay there’s no such thing as bisexual you’re either heterosexual or you’re gay." The clip amassed over 45,000 views and 780 likes in five years.

A clip from Tokyo Toni's interview was posted on X, by user @MobiusMarth^[2] on December 20th, 2020, with the caption "Obsessed with saying 'well yes' like Tokyo Toni does in this interview." The post (shown below) amassed roughly 420 likes and 86 retweets, becoming one of the earliest reaction videos used by the Stan Twitter community.

On October 17th, 2023, X^[3] user @skyferrori posted a montage featuring other celebrities saying "Well, Yes!" alongside Tokyo Toni (shown below), which amassed over 9,300 likes and 945 retweets in five months.
