About
The burning you feel refers to a moment of a viral Team Fortress 2 SFM animation, in which the popular characters fight aboard airplaines. This moment shows a heavy holding a bomb off from detonating on their plane, before trying to launch it outwards. The constant movement of the place results in the bomb dropping and colliding on the wings of the aircraft. Moments before detonation, another heavy confronts their partner, saying "The burning you feel… It is shame.". The bomb then explodes and takes down their aircraft.
Origin
On the 11th of November 2015, Turbulence[2], a Team Fortress 2 SFM animation, was posted on Youtube by user Dunkle[1], gaining over 16 million views

In 2021, Youtube user Matei Drilea posted a clip of the dialog between the two heavies, gathering 248k view as of 2024.
