About

Debate videos (also known as X vs X videos) are videos that originated from TikTok. They were made by any video editing software on mobile (most notably CapCut and AlrightMotion) mostly consisted of either clips of a character on top and bottom of a side ways phone screen move containing a song such as "After Dark" by Mr.Kitty, "Drowning" by A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Kodak Black, and "On My Own" by Darci.

These videos would also contain text of the characters fighting. The characters also end up getting certain points in these videos most notably "Strength", "Speed", "Durability", "IQ", and "Battle IQ" (or "BIQ" for short).

As the winner of the debate results came out though, most of the time it would show like a diff on how the person's POV of the fight would go like such as "High Diff", "Mid Diff" (medium diff)", "Low Diff", and "No Diff".

These video also spawn a series of other videos similar to these such as Spinning the wheel until X loses.

Origin and Growth

These videos were made by a user name @Wubazu on TikTok, where he debated the famous "Goku vs Saitama" war where he posted a video that looks like Saitama solo'd the Dragon Ball verse but it eventually ended with Kid Goku soloing the Saitama verse, the video had 478 likes and 117 and as he kept making them to the point where they became a huge success and now he current has over 600k followers on TikTok.

Other users such as Conquestor has been making them as time goes on and eventually these videos can also nowadays be found on YouTube Shorts even though it still has a good portion of a community on TikTok.
