About
Animal Crossing is a series of simulation video games created by Nintendo. Within the series, the player assumes the role of a new resident in a town populated by animals and works to repay his/her debt while settling in to the daily routine of the town. The series has gained popularity on a number of websites, spawning a large fandom.
History
The first Animal Crossing game was a Japan-only release on the Nintendo 64, titled Animal Forest, and was released on April 14, 2001. Due to the success of the game in Japan, the game was later ported to the Gamecube for release in the US on September 15, 2002, where it received favorable reviews. A sequel titled Animal Crossing: Wild World was released for the DS on December 5, 2005. The game utilized DS features such as a real-time clock and Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, to allow users to visit each other's towns wirelessly. A third game titled Animal Crossing: City Folk was released for the Nintendo Wii on November 16, 2008, this time allowing players to visit a new city area filled with a number of different shops and services for the player to utilize. The fourth game in the series, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, was released for Nintendo 3DS on June 9, 2013 and featured a wide variety of new features, most notably the ability to become mayor of your town and being able to adjust its features. An anime film based on the second game in the series, titled Dōbutsu no Mori, was released exclusively in Japan on December 16, 2006. The Animal Crossing series has also been featured in a number of other game series, such as Super Smash Bros., Wii Music and Nintendo Land.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the fifth main series title in the Animal Crossing life simulation video game series developed by Nintendo. The game was released for Nintendo Switch on March 20th, 2020.

There are two Animal Crossing wikis dedicated to recording the series[7][8], as well as an Animal Crossing fan site, titled Animal Crossing Community[9].

Isabelle: is a character from the Animal Crossing series of life-simulation games published by Nintendo. Since her first appearance in the 2012 installment of the franchise, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Isabelle has gained popularity among Animal Crossing fans. She was notably added to the roster for the 2018 video game Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.
K.K. Slider Remixes
K.K. Slider Remixes refers to a number of musical remixes of popular songs, in order for it to appear as if it is being sung by Animal Crossing character K.K. Slider, a popular in-game musician.
The Villager
The Villager is the nickname given to the generic main protagonist featured throughout the Animal Crossing franchise. After the announcement of his inclusion within the fourth installment of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, many fans gave the character a cruel and psychotic personality
