Overview

Laurenxburch or Lauren Burch is a Canadian cosplayer, model, e-girl and content creator best known for her TikTok videos where she dances and performs lip dubs. She is the co-owner of the clothing brand Gloom-E-Girl with her twin sister Julia Burch, who posts similar content. She began posting content across social media on sites including Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch and OnlyFans in 2019, gaining multiple millions of followers on the first three by 2022.

History

Laurenxburch posted her first photo to Instagram^[1] on January 17th, 2019. That year, she posted numerous "thirst trap" and modeling photos and selfies wearing outfits including lingerie. She started posting to Twitter in June of that year and posted her first video to YouTube^[15] on September 12th, 2019, in which she tries on bodysuits, gaining over 333,000 views in three years (shown below).

She posted her first video to TIkTok^[2] on December 1st, 2019, a food at home meme. Throughout 2020 she posted videos doing lip dubs, dances and skits, gaining up to hundreds of thousands of views. Her first TikTok^[3] video to gain over a million views was posted on September 23rd, 2020 (shown below).

By late 2020, the majority of Lauren's content on TikTok began gaining millions of views. On December 12th, @laurenxburch posted a video to TikTok^[4] where she does the Hai Phút Hơn dance with her twin sister, garnering over 88 million views in two years (shown below).

Burch is also known for her cosplay photos and videos on TikTok and Instagram. On April 30th, 2021, she posted a series of Harley Quinn cosplays to Instagram,^[13] garnering over 210,000 likes in a year (shown below, left). On November 2nd, she posted a Naruto cosplay to Instagram^[14] that gained over 238,000 likes in a year (shown below, right).

Gloom-E-Girl

In November 2021, Burch, her twin sister and other e-girls started the collaborative e-girl TikTok,^[5] YouTube^[6] channel and clothing brand Gloom-E-Girl, run through the website gloom-e-girl.com.^[7] On YouTube and TikTok, the girls often post videos together advertising their products (example shown below).
