John Broomfield is an elderly man (born in 1945) who is believed to reside in the United Kingdom.

He went viral after being featured in a Tweeter post in which he has a lengthy debate about bears being reintroduced to the UK. He strongly opposes the idea.

He has many crazy conspiracy theories, including his theory of the "BBC bulge edit" in which he thinks the BBC – and possibly other broadcasting corporations – have been editing in large bulges into the crotch area of people.
He first raises this idea when he accuses the BBC of editing a bulge into the crotch of an actress who plays Kate in BBC television programme Line of Duty.
As of 23/04/21, he has stated he is gathering evidence of the "BBC bulge edit scandal" and will publish it in the coming "DAYS/WEEKS".

He lacks an understanding on how Twitter works, frequently tweeting on other people's threads and getting angry because he thinks people are on his page.
He has not figured out the block/report function and will often tag Twitter Support and the Church of England when he wants to block/report someone.
If he is accusing someone of breaking the law he will often @ Mumbai Police, presumably not understanding they are an Indian police force.
