About
Oops TikTok Trend, also known as Oh Shoot TikTok Trend, refers to a TikTok trend that was popularized in early November 2024, typically used by creators in humorous POV memes and videos of someone secretly wishing for something or the downfall of their rival and accidentally switching the camera on their phone to the front-facing camera, revealing their identity and often including the caption "oops" after the camera shifts. By mid-November 2024, the trend under the Dramatic Sad Violin soundbite on TikTok had gathered over 290,000 videos on the platform, becoming especially prevalent among pet owners pretending their animals are trying to get more treats, gain a new toy or complain about something.

The camera then accidentally switches to the frontal, revealing the dog being behind the text asking for more meals, and the text "Oh Shoot," as if he's surprised by the camera. The video (seen below) garnered over 28 million plays and 5 million likes in six days.
