Online Forum Games

Forum games are picture/text threads posted by users of a online community. They have been around since fourms have been around. Some early examples are Ispy and King of the hill. Most games appear on the popular site 4chan. This entry foucuses more on the games then its impact.

RPG
RPG games are games of a story takes place. The users would then create a character and use them to interact with others and work on building up the story. Sometimes a players event can effect the whole story or characters.

KOTH
King of the hill, or KOTH is a forum game of which users try to take control over an imaginary hill. The point of king of the hill is to have leadership over the hill as long as you can before someone else claims leadership.
For example:
User: herp durp: "I blow up you ninjas and stab you, causing you to roll down. My hill."
User: Troll face: I shot you, you died, my hill.
