About

The Olive Oil Story TikTok refers to an embarrassing childhood story relayed on TikTok by user MeganChacalos (@meganchacalos) about doing an olive oil mask and saran wrapping her hair which dripped oil that she later slipped on, causing her to be knocked unconscious. The original post was a photo slideshow posted in December 2024, which followed the Pepe the King Prawn format involving The Muppets character and the Madonna song "Like a Prayer."

Origin

On December 7th, 2024, TikToker[1] @meganchacalos posted a slideshow that followed the Pepe the King Prawn meme format, regarding her childhood story about putting olive oil in her hair to improve its texture. She applied the oil and saran-wrapped her head. She then walked to the garage to get a drink but was dripping oil on the ground. She slipped on the oil and knocked herself out on the way back inside. She woke up locked out of the house and triggered the burglar alarm when returning. Her parents woke up and police later arrived, who were only near the house because the neighborhood's waterline was down.
