Mr. Incredible's Tongue is a reaction image macro series of a distorted image of the film character Mr. Incredible sticking out his tongue. The image is taken from a screenshot from the American animated film Incredibles 2 and has been used to express disgust.

Origin

On June 15th, 2018, the film Incredibles 2 premiered in the United States.^[1] In the film, Mr. Incredible fights an underground villain named the Underminer (voiced by Craig T. Nelson and John Ratzenberger). During their battle, Mr. Incredible spits a rock out of his mouth, allowing his tongue to unfurl (clip below).

The earliest available use of the distorted image of Mr. Incredible's tongue was posted by Amino Apps^[2] user A Serious Man on August 2nd, 2018 (shown below). They titled the image "Me when I accidentally see hentai."

On November 20th, 2018, an anonymous 4chan ^[3] user posted the image in the /biz/ board (shown below).

On December 30th, Redditor ^[4] SuulWaay posted the image with the caption "me licking the dried ketchup on the carpet." The post received more than 1,200 points (98% upvoted) and 55 comments in about six months (shown below, left).

On February 27th, 2019, Redditor^[5] oDepression-_- posted the image with the caption "White girls on Snapchat." The post received more than 59,000 points (92% upvoted) and 315 comments in five months (shown below, right).

On March 8th, Redditor^[6] posted the image as a joke about babies eating "dirty stuff on the floor." The post received more than 30,000 points (96% upvoted) and 90 comments in four months (shown below, right).
