The phrase began to infiltrate TikTok and comment sections, with TikToker[2] @unfriendlybisexual posting a video on January 9th, 2022, with the caption "just fell to my knees in walmart," and gathering over 7 million plays and nearly 2 million likes in ten months (seen below, left). TikToker[3] @scrubnumberone posted a video reacting to one such thirst comment on January 19th, 2022, gathering nearly 500,000 views and 50,000 likes in nine months (seen below, right).
