About

Jittleyang, also written Jikkuhlang, and Fuhuhluhtoogan, also written Fuhuhlatoogan, are Baltimore slang terms from the Maryland city that originally went viral in the Baltimore Accent Rap Song, aka "City Girls" by Bippleyipsnipp. Bippleyipsnipp, real name Richard Webster, is a Baltimore barber and rapper who popularized the terms starting in 2021. After his song went viral in 2023 and earned meme attention on Instagram and TikTok, usage of his slang terms continued into 2024, predominantly going viral via the question, "Are you a jittleyang or a fuhuhluhtoogan?" spreading on TikTok.

Origin

On March 2nd, 2021, the YouTube[1] video for "City girls actupuhluhgoot remixuhten" by Baltimore rapper Bippleyipsnipp was posted to the channel MrBUHDUGGETZ DUGGETZ, gaining over 4 million views in three years (shown below).

The channel had to cut the video's song, due to a copyright strike on the beat, leaving only the intro and outro. On November 20th, 2023, the channel reposted the full-length music video to YouTube,[2] gaining over 63,000 views in five months (shown below).

In the song, Bippleyipsnipp uses the words "jittleyang" and "fuhuhluhtoogan." Bippleyipsnipp likely used the words before March 2021 on his Instagram[10] account. However, all of his Instagram posts before November 2021 have been deleted.

Usgae of the word "jikkuhlang" date back to a tweet shared by X[3] user @KURRRUPTSHON on February 11th, 2021. On the next day, X[4] user @F1LTHYwakeup also tweeted "jikkuhlang." It's unconfirmed if the aforementioned X users sourced the term from Bippleyipsnipp.

Meaning

On March 26th, 2022, Bippleyipsnipp, real name Richard Webster, published his book Jikkuhlang the Dictionary.[5] Although the word is in the title, the book doesn't directly define "jikkuhlang" (aka "jittleyang") but defines a similar word, and likely prefix, "jikkal" which means "an attention grabber" (shown below, left). The suffix "-yang" is seemingly used in Webster's slang as a nonsensical emphasis.

Similarly, "fuhuhluhtoogan" is not directly defined in Jikkuhlang the Dictionary. However, similar words like "fuckalyoot" and "fuckalyew" are defined, both being related to good intercourse (shown below, center and right).

JIKKAL Jikkal is an attention grabber it's used to say Ayy Jikkal or "Yo you ain't got no Jikkal left, I need one nuck. JIKKUHLANG DICTIONARY
2 FUCKALYOOT Sexual intercourse in the manor of wanting it but haven't gotten it or figured out how to get it yet. EXAMPLE I need some Fuckalyoot! I want some Fuckalyoot! JIKKUHLANG DICTIONARY
The FUCKALYEW person your trying or want to have a quick encounter with. EXAMPLE "I'm tryna see wassup wit dat FUCKALYEW! JIKKUHLANG DICTIONARY
