Jimmy Neutron Yelling refers to a series of remix memes made using a clip of the character Jimmy Neutron yelling. The scene stems from an episode of the children's animated television show The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius where he travels to a "bad" future and finds out that his older self is married to his childhood bully Cindy Vortex. Jimmy Neutron's devastated yell has since been edited, remixed, and reposted on YouTube using popular meme sounds instead of his original voice. Some sounds include the song "Gangsta's Paradise," the Ambatukam meme and the Halo theme song, among others.

Origin

Season three, episode eight of the children's television show The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius aired on May 23rd, 2005. The episode was titled, "The Tomorrow Boys" and showed Jimmy and his friends Carl and Sheen traveling to the future to see their future selves.

A misstep involving Carl accidentally giving their friend Libby a serum that drives people mad with power causes the future to change, with Jimmy finding out that he has married his childhood bully Cindy in the "bad future," and letting out a devastated 4-minute yell.

A clip of the scene was posted to YouTube by user carpen^[1] on February 8th, 2012, gathering over 3 million views in 11 years (seen below, left). A clip posted by YouTuber^[2] AreaEightyNine on August 15th, 2018, captured Jimmy's yell, gathering over 1 million views in five years (seen below, right).

On December 28th, 2020, YouTuber^[3] posted a version of the meme titled, "Jimmy Neutron Screams like yoshi for 4 minutes," gathering 250,000 views in three years (seen below, left). On February 11th, 2021, YouTuber^[4] Hilee Whitaker posted a version of the meme titled, "Jimmy neutron screams with PS2 in 4 minutes (meme)," gathering over 130,000 views in two years (seen below, right).

On April 29th, 2021, YouTuber^[5] @n1ckim7naj posted a version of the meme where Jimmy bursts into a wail sung by Mary J Blige, gathering over 47,000 views in two years (seen below, left). On May 20th, 2023, YouTuber^[6] russel_mp posted a clip titled "AMBATUKAM choir," in reference to the Ambatukam meme. The cip gathered over 300,000 likes in four months (seen below, right).
