Overview
BitBoy's Arrest or Ben Armstrong Arrested refers to a series of viral videos following an incident on September 25th, 2023, in which the crypto influencer Ben Armstrong (known online as BitBoy) was arrested by Gwinnett County police in Georgia while livestreaming outside his former business partner's house, who he alleges took possession of his Lamborghini. The videos from his own stream of the incident were reuploaded and spread around social media after his arrest, with many users incorporating them into memes or mocking Armstrong.
Background
BitBoy, known online as a cryptocurrency influencer who some have accused of alleged scamming due to numerous business dealings before the crypto crash in 2022, was pushed out of his own company (called BitBoy Media) prior to the viral arrest video, which ultimately led to the incident taking place. On September 25th, 2023, Ben Armstrong livestreamed himself driving a car on his way to a former business associate's house, who he claims stole his Lambo, recording himself dancing to "Crank That Soulja Boy," as seen in the reupload by X user @inversebrah[1] (shown below).

Later that night, BitBoy can be seen on security footage knocking on the door of the former business associate, but he receives no answer. Security footage of him knocking shows that he is holding his phone, either still livestreaming or on a call with someone, while his truck is seen in the background still turned on.
BitBoy runs from the scene shortly after waiting for 10 seconds, as seen in the footage reuploaded to X by user @BlockchainSmash[2] on September 26th (shown below).

Developments
BitBoy was later questioned and arrested by Gwinnett County police in Georgia near Atlanta, during which he was still livestreaming. On September 25th, 2023, the night that it occurred, X user @MarkMatts[3] reuploaded a snippet from the stream in which BitBoy admits that he had a gun in his car, as well as his mistress that he purportedly used to cheat on his wife with (shown below).

On September 26th, BitBoy was then released from police custody and made a post on X[4] to talk about what happened. In his own words, he simply was a loiterer, with no mention of the previous admission to having a gun in his car, as well as his former mistress being present (shown below).
Online Reactions
Several people connected to the crypto space, either via reporting on it, directly investing or both, had immediate reactions to Ben Armstrong and his livestreams during the incident. For example, on September 26th, 2023, the Blockchain Enthusiast and X user @Cryptic_tits[5] uploaded a remixed version of the Soulja Boy livestream, incorporating more tech-bro-oriented elements and receiving over 22,000 views and nearly 300 likes in a day (shown below).
