Bentley Car Review ASMR Parodies refers to a series of videos made in a parody of an ASMR woman reviewing a Bentley car, going over the car's luxurious features. In response, people made parodies with their own, less luxurious cars. .

Origin

On July 6th, 2023, YouTube^[1] and TikTok^[2] user JETCAR uploaded an ASMR video of a woman tapping and revving the engine of a Bentley car. The videos received more than 1.9 million views and 3.2 million views, respectively (YouTube upload shown below).

Spread

Starting in August 2023, the video inspired popular parody versions on YouTube. For example, on August 5th, 2023, YouTube^[3] user Just Sul uploaded a parody version using a Tata car, receiving more than 53 million views in one month (shown below, left). On August 10th, 2023, YouTube^[4] user Tyler Butterworth uploaded a similar parody using a military vehicle. The video received more than 12 million views in three weeks (shown below, left).

On August 16th, 2023, YouTube^[5] user Petutschnig Hons aus Schlatzing uploaded a parody using his tractor. The video received more than 2 million views in two weeks (shown below, left). On the same day, YouTube^[6] user carter kench uploaded a similar parody using a Jeep. The video received more than 5 million views in two weeks (shown below, right).
