"So after 5 and a half hours,1100 USD and a visit from Ed Hardy himself (my Army buddy’s dad works at Ed Hardy’s Tattoo City in SF, which is where I got it done.), this tattoo came out pretty well. The only thing my tattoo artist change is the teeth of the dragons, because they were bunched together and he was afraid that the teeth blurred over each other in the stencil and wouldn’t give a clean look. But yeah, it was painful as f--- (my shoulders, spine, and lower back are not the same anymore). But it’s a great experience.

RWBY means a lot to me as a show. I’ve met many people (including the love of my life), and Monty himself was an inspiration. The show, despite its faults, brought me through some of the darkest times of my life, and Monty’s way of handling work taught me if I want it, I go get it, because it may not be there one day. So this is a tribute to the show, Monty himself, and to life as a whole."
