DLC Character #2 Leak: Dark Fox!

My dad is an employee at Nintendo – one day he took me there as a special treat and I got to see early gameplay footage of upcoming games like Super Mario Galaxy 3, EarthBound Trilogy, Pokémon Z, Punch-Out!! U and F-Zero HXC. That was all incredible and all, but one interesting thing caught my eye… a new, never-before-seen character as a DLC fighter for SSB4.

It is a character from the upcoming Star Fox Wii U game: Dark Fox. He is a new member of Star Wolf and is Wolf's most trusted ally, second behind Leon. It wasn't just gameplay I saw of him, but amiibo beta testing footage – an employee told me that Dark Fox will be a part of Wave 7 of the Super Smash Bros. range of amiibo with a release window of late 2015.

I took this photo coming from a beta tester's New Nintendo 3DS while he was away… I felt I would've been dead meat if I got caught. Thank god I didn't.
