In a time where technology lacks artificial flight, the mysterious floating isle attracts little attention, with only those capable of winged flight able to reach the dazzling heights it resides in comfortably. The island is only known, by the few survivors, of its treacherous traps, lush vegetation, ancient history and a terrifying, gruesome being of unknown origin. For Rouge the Bat however, it is the ideal vacation. The swashbuckling, jewel-hunting and daring adventuress sets off to search for clues to the rumored wealth hidden within the island, but she soon learns that there lies deep and dark secrets behind the cursed land’s (and its inhabitant’s) initial appearance.
