Those were all Hillenburg-era, anything after the Movie came out, is when the show started really going downhill that's really f------ depressing oh my god Okay, I refuse to reblog the original post for a number of reasons, but I cannot keep quiet about this theawesomeadventurer and psywing and all other modern SpongeBob haters? Listen up 1. That picture is taken completely out of context from the official Nickelodeon website. The actual episode it comes from, "Kenny the Cat," is actually quite decent. Even Mr. Enter, Nick's harshest critic, thinks it's good. In context, those looks only appear for a few seconds and are meant to be creepy. Patrick even reacts to it accordingly. Fearing something from this show for how it looks is just silly, especially considering the designs I've seen on more popular shows like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls. As SpongeBob once said, "You've got to stop judging people by the way they look 2. I'm not saying SpongeBob hasn't seen better days. It's obviously not as good as it was during the original three seasons, but that doesn't mean it's always bad.
