Quantum mechanics are a very complex and confusing part of physics. It deals with matter at a molecular level, sometimes even going to the Planck length, or 10^-33 centimeters (0.000000000000000000000000000000001 cm). Smaller than that, and some physicists suspect that physics revert back to Newtonian physics. The four universal forces are as followed: gravity, electromagnetic, weak nuclear force, and strong nuclear force, with gravity being the weakest by a large margin. In fact, the electromagnetic force of a chair is enough to cancel out the entire gravitational force of the Earth. Many a physicist have tried, and failed, to unite all four universal forces. Many believe that the closest theory to unification is the Membrane theory, or M-Theory, which states that there are multiple membranes that make up the Universe, with ours being a p-brane. If one were to go into another dimension, he or she would have god-like abilities, similar to the events of The Invisible Man.
