I got an e-mail I sent feedback to the HTC website http:/www.htc.com/a shortly after telling me that they were going to forward it to the necessary department. Just a note. I'm not in US, so I sent it to the Australia site since it asks for your mobile number Just now. Igot a call from HTC. They called me with regards to the complaint that I filed through their website, saying that they received my complaint, but stated that they were NOT associated with GAWKER media. I explained that I saw their logo on Gawker's list of advertising partners. The lady then asked if it was still up, and I said that they had removed the list of advertisers from their website (I didn't explain why). The lady then said that she'd elevate my case further by forwarding it to USA I was given a reference number, in case I wanted to follow up on my complaint. She let me know that another e-mail will be sent to me to let me know that they have received the report and will send it further up. I unfortunately don't have any proof (no recording etc.) since they called me in the middle of a meal with my family and wasn't expecting a call. I'm sure this is pretty hard to believe, so it's up to you whether or not to take this random redditor's word for it. Take from this what you will. For me, this is a sign that they are DEFINITELY listening. So I will DEFINITELY BE E-MAILING

X Journalists would make claims of people like Anita Sarkeesian "playing video games all her life" when she openly admitted many times she is not a gamer and only starter recently (when it wasn't for an interview). Various developers trading sex or money for good reviews got exposed, journalists who accepted got exposed. People became a bit more critical about supporting a game just because the developer has a victim complex stating tat their game could have only failed because of sexism, instead of their own poor developing skills. What really sealed the deal was opposition often faking their own harassment. Anita sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn have been caught multiple times screenshotting "harassment" while showing that the harrasser's account name in the login. Or when someone called the police to help Sarkeesian against a "very real threat" she was posting about, only for police to find the harasser's messages were coming from her IP address.
