Nick Land

Author is "Anonymous". Created on Saturday, October 11, 2014 and posted to a thread in 8chan's /pol/. The events surrounding the creation of this image include: a raid by 8chan's /fringe/ board on /pol/, specifically targeting neoreactionary threads. Posts were spammed that insinuated that neoreaction was a sinister plot by British philosopher Nick Land. This, combined with the fact that Nick Land noticed the raid and commented on it (he seemed to think it was more funny than anything else) resulted in an anonymous user to shop an image of Nick Land's face onto an existing picture of Tzeentch, the god of change from Warhammer 40,000 lore, rubbing his hands together and saying "Just as planned." The image is now used as a counter to /fringe/-style spamming of neoreactionary threads and as self-deprecating humor among neoreactionaries who are accused of manipulating events.
