WHAT IS GAMERGATE? WHO ARE WE? We are gamers of all backgrounds and genders We love video games and are very interested in their future evolution. We became alarmed at the level of corruption and collusion shown by game journalists writing for many popular publications IS GAMERGATE YOUR MOVEMENT? Unlike what some journalists will tell you, it is not a movement but the name chosen for a series of scandals involving video games These same journalists are normally involved in these very scandals! 其 In summary, the same publications that were revealed to be involved corruption decided to turn the label derived from the Watergate scandal into the label of the consumer revolt they faced AND WHAT HAVE THEY DONE EXACTLY? These game journalists have colluded with each other and the makers of the products they review for their own profit and in order to promote a fringe movement of "social justice warriors Instead of reviewing games based on merit, they are reviewing them based on their personal connection and this strange political stance WHY DOES ANY OF THIS REALLY MATTER? Even if you do not play video games regularly it is highly likely your children or grand children play videogames for the majority of their spare time. Quality games are an enrich ing experience and greatly aid the development of the brain. They can also tell a story and are an important part of our collective culture Along with their corruption, these journalists have decided to condemn any game that does not adhere to their personal ideology. They collude as a clique to ensure that these games do not rank well. This leads to a poorer experience for otherwise uninformed gamers and parents who purchase games for their children BUT WHY HAVEN'TI HEARD ABOUT THIS? The moment the scandals began to break out many popular gaming publications ran stories stating that “Gamers were dead". This led to an uprising with many Gamers calling this out as both a horrendous declaration and further evidence of collusion! The response was mass censorship, with 32,000 comments being deleted on a popular site called "reddit" and most gaming forums shutting their door to any discussion of the matter. This prompted the famous actor Adam Bawldin to coin the name and hashtag #GamerGate in order to organize discussion of the scandal on the popular social medium twitter SO, WHAT CANIDO TO HELP? All concerned people with access to social media an join us on twitter by searching the hashtag /came rGate. we are arranging a boycott of the corrupt publications and we actively expose the politically charged review process that they employ when reviewing games. Please help spread our information to new sites and advertisers! Games are for everyone, not for a particular clique, children deserve to have the best experience that their parents use their hard rnt money for. Your help will ensure that the corruption will be brought to an end so that we can all enjoy video games!

X Journalists would make claims of people like Anita Sarkeesian "playing video games all her life" when she openly admitted many times she is not a gamer and only starter recently (when it wasn't for an interview). Various developers trading sex or money for good reviews got exposed, journalists who accepted got exposed. People became a bit more critical about supporting a game just because the developer has a victim complex stating tat their game could have only failed because of sexism, instead of their own poor developing skills. What really sealed the deal was opposition often faking their own harassment. Anita sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn have been caught multiple times screenshotting "harassment" while showing that the harrasser's account name in the login. Or when someone called the police to help Sarkeesian against a "very real threat" she was posting about, only for police to find the harasser's messages were coming from her IP address.
