In the early 80's a young Jerry "The King" Lawler feuded with the eccentric performance artist Andy Kaufman. Kaufman was a celebrity due to his role as Latka Gravas on the hit show Taxi, thus the feud would lead them to appear on Late Night with David Letterman. Halfway through the interview Lawler stood and punched Kaufman square in the jaw; this interview became historic.
