As the Al works, it will spam Dragon Dance against Ariados to deal decent damage. This is our chance to spam Tail Glow to get the Dome going 3 Tail Glows get us to x4 SpA. The only difficulty might be switching to Frenzy Plant at the right moment to avoid being bug bitten. Needless to say, Frenzy Plant will OHKO Quagsire Next Mon is Steelix. Note Ariados will have to recharge, so Steelix gets a free move. It will most likely use Earth Power, which downs Ariados by 50% (at lv 38). With some luck, it will miss with Fissure and we take no damage. Ariados needs to hit level 38 (4 lv ups) to ohko Steelix with another Frenzy Plant. (It should easily outpseed Steelix at that point) Okay, this guy is a problem, as he outpseeds Ariados and deals heavy damage (up to 70% with dig). Remember, however, that Ariados should gain fast level ups from Steelix and Quagsire and help the rest of the team get farther. Ariados needs to hi level 45 to tank both Earth Power and Dig. Note that the dig pre-attack turn allows us to recharge. 2 Nidoqueens with Mud shot left. Again, mud shot deals some good damage. As long as they use that instead of sand attack, Ariados won't survive beyond this point But see it this way, Ariados will defeat the Mon we have most troubles with for us, and open the way for a completely healthy team to wreck the remaining e4 members. It will quickly gain levels and depending on the Al might even help us with Koga, too. tldr version: Dome is weak, but would help us a lot with defeating Will consistently (which we currently can't do at all), even without heavy grinding And while Flaafy or others *mighぜbe better long term, it would only help us getting wrecked by Will more often
