FEBRUARY 12, 2014 So one of my amazingly awesome friends is moving to Massachusetts in nine weeks. And last night we were talking and we decided that before she goes we want to do something super adventurous and she actually wants to go parasailing. Which is awesome because when I was in Myrtle Beach I saw people parasailing and I was SO jealous and it would be something totally awesome we could do together. And we'd have to save up for it but it could totally be worth it. So l go on the site and read up on the FAQs when I come across this (copied and pasted directly from the site) Q: What if I have back, neck or spinal injuries A: Unfortunately we do not suggest you parasail Now, I don't have back, neck, or spinal injuries, but usually questions like these are trying to determine if you're in a wheelchair or not (because everyone who uses a wheelchair has back injuries of course) and even if it wasn't so, and I was allowed- to parasail because I don't have an SCl it's still discrimination against disabled people So l contacted them about it and we'll see what happens #parasailir discrimination#disability discrimination 1 note ughsocialjustice: w-- this isn't oppression of disabled people, this is literally the company trying to make sure that people aren't killed or seriously maimed.
