Twas the day before the Direct, and all through the forums, All the trolls are still a'buzz; it's hard to ignore 'em. "Yoshi is cut!" and "I have a leak!" Are still common to see week after week. Many regulars posting "Hey guys, rate my roster!" All while Daisy fanboys deny that they've lost her, Dozens of topics asking Your Reaction?" To a scenario so obscure that the topic gains no traction. Many conjectures afoot, and posters trying to find patterns Plus nonsense conclusions like: "Ness is cut because we haven't seen Mr. Saturn!" All are in wonder about the Direct, Miis, game modes and release date are all suspect. Now a lone metroid is seen on the pic of the day; Speculations are high: "Could Ridley be on his way? Ridley confirmed!", some people shout To which others say "Close your account. Get out." When the Direct finally airs we all hope for something grand! But by the end we get Sakurai: "laughs* and lwata: "Please understand."
