The KLK fandom has rulned my Iking for Inumuta and lorl relationship, I find It stupld when people use volce actor's opinlons too literal. They're opinlons for one, not facts, theý didn't write the story Line for KLK, nor do the character designs. Just bécause Uzu's VA Joked about Inumuta Liking lorl doesn't mean he was belng serlous. It's Just a joke, is It so hard to accept that lorl and Inumuta are Just good frlends? Ok first off, you can't brush off what the voice actors say about their own characters. Yes they may not have been the one to write the script but are you seriously telling me that the VAs, who have been acting and empathizing with their character for the entire production of the show would not know a thing or two about their characters? Yes you can say it's a joke, but in the context of the intrview, they flat out state that Inu likes lori And even if it was just a joke, tell me, why the f--- can't we ship a queer male ship with minor hints? Yes, it is very very easy to brush off these minor hints like the interview and Probe Regalia MK I (which, must i remind you was the only revealing uniform in that bunch, with no real reason for being so). The fact still remains that they stlll have more basls and hlnts than any other palring for Inumuta or lorl. I ou are trying to tell me that I am not allowed to ship these two because their relationship is 'only bromance then I can say the same thing about literally every other popular ship for Inu or lori Inu/Nonon? They're just vitriolic friends, they argue a lot. There's nothing indicating they're dating STOP SHÍPPING THEM THEYRE PLATONIC or lori/Satsuki They grew up together! They're more like a younger brother and older sister, STOP SHIPPING THEM THEYRE PLATONIC. If you ship either of those, or any other pairing with lori or Inumuta,and decry this pairing for being a bromance and only good friends then you are being extrmely hypocriticalI am also very very sure that if one of them was female, no one would even question the act of people shipping them. I have not seen a single anti-ship post for any pairing for lori or Inumuta but lori/lnumuta on this blog, or anywhere, so it makes me think that the people who dislike it so much just dislike the idea of a male ship being so popular to begin with. Anime fandom always has the extremely terrible tendency to belittle and twist around absolutely ANY hints for queer couples while embracing the het that has the same amount/less hints so it is very Lik that the same thing is happening here And finally, how does it ruin both characters? Tell me, how? Inumuta is still a snarky hacker that is interested in data. lori is still a hardworking and extremely cool sewing club leader. How does an extremely healthy, possible, adorable, male/male pairing and people shipping them ruin your interest in them? It's not like the people shipping them go around yelling it's CANON or CONFIRMED unlike certain pairings (cough Gamako RyuMako cough). This is why I hate the western klk fandom, as soon as this one non-het ship gets popular, everyone goes around and tries to dismiss it Tries to shame people for shipping characters that are just friends nothing more" but only when theyre queer. Get a grip and let people ship this, especially since there IS basis for it, it IS healthy and there is nothing inherently wrong or ooc about it
