The show itself isn't that great, and it's only really popular because of the initial shock value of watching a sugar-coated story (Or in this case, a nudity-coated story) lured enough people in to stay when they saw a show that wasn't complete garbage in the way that they expected. Still, the fact that they are adults watching a children's cartoon has to be justified some way. Some can say that it's just fun to watch, which is a valid reason, but others will argue that it is deep and mature because it has moments where it isn't retarded, or because it has some tame instances of adult humor, because they feel the need to think something is a masterpiece in order to avoid accusations of bandwagon-jumping Personally, I like the creative potential of the setting, even if the writers cannot take advantage of it properl
