Just because 3 unicorns have immense superpowers doesn't mean that their whole race is better than the other races! I mean, there are also other examples of earth ponies that are so powerful that they cannot be defeated without macguffins, like Maneiac, or Pinkie Pie. Maneiac is an earth pony, but she beat Twilight and Rainbow Dash, who have a whole bunch of superpowers. Pinkie Pie is also an earth pony but she's actually an unstoppable omnipotent goddess like Discord I don't see how earth ponies are exactly inferior, especially when Pinkie Pie is an omnipotent 4th wall breaker that can outwit even the smartest unicorn like she did in FPK.
