![□ Anonymous 12/03/13(Tue)14:39:45 No.14882179 [▼] >>14882190 >>14882198 >>14882233 >>14882270 >>14882463 14881863 These are strange times we live in As saturated with turmoil as the year 2013 has been for us, I believe we are going to look back upon it as being a great success for this board /mlp/ is like a guard dog In 2012, it was a younger puppy, violently tearing up the backyard, s------- in the house, and fighting the other dogs in the neighborhood By 2013 the vicious guard dog is a little bit bigger, stronger, and maybe more well behaved, but it certainly didn't lose any of it's bite It may still s--- in the house from time to time and bite at anything that wanders into it's territory, but it still earned it's bone and it's pat on the head At it's heart it's still a guard dog, not a lap dog Sure our doghouse might not be as warm as a purse or as comfortable as the foot of the bed like SOME dogs, but we've got something that the other pets don't We have our freedom Our home might be a mess, but it's ours and we like it just the way it is That's what we are now, A valued member of the family, that is to be treated with caution and respect Don't rattle the big dog's cage and throw him a treat every now and then and he may even let you pet hinm In some cases he might even bring you a present... □ Anonymous 12/03/13(Tue)14:41:15 No.14882190 [▼] >>14882233 >>14882270 >>14882332 >>14882463 14882179 Sure it's a mangled corpse regurgitated on the doorstep, but it's the gesture that matters So that's where we are today In the doghouse, chained to our home, while the little annoying dogs bark and bark and bark demanding attention And they get it, begrudgingly by the family, the staff in the house But no matter how much attention the little dogs get, at the end of the day, they still come out to play with us, because though they might not say it, they appreciate us more And I tell you what When that nice lady who picked us scratches us behind the ears just right... ...it's worth every second Keep barking little lap dogs keep on barking You'll never know the joy of being the quard doq](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/653/084/741.png "741.png")
